This Privacy Policy describes how the Hunger Counter mobile application ("the App") handles your information. The App is developed by Wiktor Bałaban ("I", "me").
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
The App also stores technical state data locally: the current app icon variant and the date the daily icon reset last ran. This data is not personal and is used only to manage the app icon appearance.
The data listed above is used solely to display your personal hunger history within the App (Today tab and Report tab). It is never used for any other purpose.
All data is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. No data leaves your device. There is no account system, no server, and no cloud sync.
Data is retained indefinitely until you uninstall the App or clear the App's data manually via your device's App Settings.
The App contains no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK. No data is sold or shared for commercial purposes.
If you opt in to crash reporting (see section 5), limited technical data is transmitted to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) solely for the purpose of fixing bugs. This is the only circumstance under which any data leaves your device.
The App includes an optional crash reporting feature powered by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.). This feature is disabled by default and is only activated if you explicitly enable it in the More tab.
If enabled, the following data may be sent to Sentry when a crash occurs:
No hunger entries or any other personal data are included in crash reports. Crash reports are used solely to identify and fix bugs. You can disable crash reporting at any time in the More tab. Sentry's privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy.
On Android, the App registers a background task that runs approximately once per hour. This task checks whether the current date has changed in order to reset the app icon. It accesses only the locally stored hunger entries described above and does not transmit any data.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
You can delete all data stored by the App at any time by:
